Her byder Laila Eskedal velkommen

Tidens Kunst 2018, Messehallerne i Års

Randers Fjord Center, Denmark 2017

The silver wedding couple Annette and Ole take a look at their new painting: 'Travelling'.
This happened just at the start of the the cellebration, the party looking on.

The three of them - son Mathias can here be seen on the left side - in the painting he is sitting in between Annete and Ole in the canoe. The first leg of the waterway symbolises their first 25 years - around the bend the next 25 years are waiting for them.

The painting was commisioned by Inge, Annettes mother. She can be seen to the left on the photo.

Ole called on me to make some remarks on the work - I made some remarks on how the original photo had changed using symbolism of time, seasons, reflections and experiences changing between them and their surroundings in a wider sense.
It turned out that both Ole and Inge used the painting in their speaches, which naturally made me proud and convinced me that this indeed is their silver wedding painting.

It has been a pleasure. There have been some very interesting nd heartfelt remarks on the painting, which in turn have made me see the painting in yet another light.

Sønderborg - Denmark 2016

When we visited uncle Karl, he recived the painting 'Mik and Mik' as his 85 year birthday gift. I'm proud he and his daughters, Anneli and Helle, like the painting.

Copenhagen - Denmark 2015

In the summer 2015 we met long time friends Else and Jonas.
We took the opportunity to give them an aquarelle. Here they take a look at their new 'Administrador' aquarelle.

Køge - Denmark 2014

Eva and Bård are taking a look at their painting(s) 'In the heartland of Angola'. We developed the idea for the paintings  together, based on the research work we collaborated on in Angola, 2009.

This research work with Eva really was an experience, very rewarding, which has benefitted us ever since. A heartfelt 'Thank you'!

Køge Tax Department - Denmark 2014

The art association invited Tove and I to make an exhibition. We were pleased with this oportunity, as the tax authority building had amble space to exhibit many works at the same time and place. Wonderful.

The art assiciation and employees bought several works, so it became a very possitive experience.
